Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong board. Girls ( or guys), what's your favorite shampoo? I love Paul Mitchell. I especially like the Awapui kind, or I'll use Shampoo No. 1. both smell great, and do a great job. Good shampoo and conditioner is one thing that I use. Store-bought stuff just doesn't work well in my oppinion. I use Paul Mitchell's light detangler as well.
I also like Biolage by Matrix.
I use Aussie shampoo and conditioner.
I use Herbalescence. I love it. It smells so good to me.
I use Dove for shampoo and conditioner. Sometimes, I use Head n Shoulders.
I used Herbalescence for a long time, before I switched to Aussie.
I love sunsilk. It smells absolutely heavenly, and it works great for me. I think it works more with straight hair though. lol. I used paul mitchell before and it didn't really work out, lol.
I'm not sure whether you people are having head & shoulders there or not. but I love it. it's available in India.

It's expensive, and I've only seen it on QVC, but I love Ojon shampoo and other hair products such as conditioners and styling products. Now that I'm on a budget, I buy cheaper stuff at the drugstore. But nothing smells as good as Ojon.
I use all-natural shampoos and conditioners along with all of my other stuff. I buy them from Pure Complexions, which is a store based in New Jersey. it's a great store.
I used to use Ausie. It does smell really good, and reminds me of my junior year in high school. I've never used Dove, but I still love their original pink bar soap. It smells really good and works really well for me. I color my hair jabout every three months. Unfortunately, a lot of shampoos for color treated hair seem to weigh my hair down, or leave a yucky residue. I have really fine hair though. Does anyone else have this problem, and what are some good color shampoos that won't make my hair feel like an oil slick has hit it?
If I use one kind of shampoo for too long, it seems to cause build-up on my hair. So, I use this Neutrogena clarifying shampoo every once in awhile, and switch my shampoo brands. My favorites include Dove, Aussie, and Sunsilk. If I get salon shampoo, which I rarely do because it's so expensive, I like a brand called Back to Basics.
I like Back to Basics Peach and Pomegranate shampoo and I do use a clarifying shampoo about twice a month.
I like head and shoulders the best. It is not as expensive in this country as it may be in the US, so if you know anyone who lives in a developing country, they may be able to get some for you.
I used to use head and shoulders. ow I use Tresaime sorry if I spelled it wrong. it is good to get volumme on my hair.
I now use head and shoulders. All the other shampoos and conditioners just made my hair briddle. I don't know if anyone knows this, but head and shoulders has a two in one conditioner and shampoo. It works great for my hair. I use the sensitave care kind that has allo in it.

i like pert plus
Pert is good, but eh. I like Vive.
i switch around. because i also think my hair gets build up if not. I like pantene and i can't remember what it's called but it's from the salon. I always use that for a few weaks after i get my hair hightlighted.
ooo. switching around? I guess that'd be ok if you're not allergetic to any of them.

I've heard that switching shampoo every so often is good for your hair. Also, a good remedy for buildup is to add a small amount of white vinegar to your your shampoo. You can mix the two together in your palm. The mixture won't lather as well as undiluted shampoo, but this makes an awesome treatment for residue from shampoo or styling products. I try to use this about every month. It won't strip color, and it works really well. Just condition your hair as usual afterwords. This will really make your hair shiny. Hth.
For ladies with hair that's prone to oiliness, I'd suggest Biolage's normalizing shampoo coupled with the light detangling sollution as a conditionner. It's a bit expensive, but was definitely worth it for me. Like many of you, I switch up shampoo/conditionner every once in a while (not only due to build-up but also simpley because I get bored!). For ladies with oily hair looking for a cheaper alternative, I'd suggest Dove's new line called Energize (it comes in grapefruit and lemongrass, as well as nectarine and white jinger scents). I have ethical issues with dove though, so I can't whole-heartedly recommend it.
Hi, I love Biolage's Normalizing shampoo. It was one of the first really good shampoos I tried back in high school. The detangling solution works well as well. I'm currently using Amplify XL for color treated hair. It's made by Matrix, the same company which makes Biolage. So far, it's one of the better shampoos for color-treated hair that I've tried. I too get bored with shampoo a lot, so I have about four different kinds in my shower right now.
